High School Outreach

TEXO Foundation’s High School Outreach Committee focuses on creating pipelines within high schools via advisory councils, classroom presentations, construction awareness events, and educator resources & support to encourage careers in construction and skilled trades.

Committee Mission: Create a unified approach to recruiting skilled trade workers, laborers, and degreed professionals into the construction industry.

This experiential showcase is more than just your average career fair – it’s a comprehensive dive into the many diverse roads that lead to a fulfilling career in the high-rising construction industry. Whether you’re a general contractor, specialty contractor, industry service provider, university, or vocational school, vendors at BID Expo provide hands-on opportunities for students to learn about the incredible paths to a career in the DFW building community.
