Scholarships & Grants

TEXO Foundation raises funds to support the construction industry through the generous support of our TEXO members. Our goal is that, through university support via scholarships and grants, high quality employees will be attracted to the Dallas/Fort Worth construction market.

Scholarships

In the past 5 years, TEXO Foundation has disbursed over $130,000 scholarships to students who were interested in starting their careers in North Texas through internships and full-time employment upon graduation.

Students are encouraged to apply for the scholarships on an annual basis. After receiving the applications, TEXO Foundation reviews the applications and determines which students will receive an opportunity to interview for a scholarship. Many factors weigh into the decision of awarding scholarships, and we take time to visit with the candidates in a virtual panel-style interview.

Requirements:

Seek to work in the commercial construction industry
Plan to start your career in North Texas
At least one semester remaining in your program of study
Unofficial OR official copy of your transcript

The 2023 Scholarship Application is NOW CLOSED, and will be announced at our 2024 TEXO Foundation | ASC Region 5 Student Competition on February 19, 2024.

Grants

Colleges & universities with construction management programs can apply for TEXO Foundation grants on an annual basis. We will be announcing in Q1 of 2024 the opening and closing dates of the 2024 College Grant Application.
